I´m vegan because I LOVE animals. As simple as that. The misconception that we live in as society is based in SPECISM, teaching us since childhood to love one animal and consume another. Like is one has a special value and the other one is just here for our pleasure.

How can we love our dogs and eat a cow or a pig?

When I educated myself on the food system and the barbaric oppression and horrors that is behind it I realized the way we live is not aligned with the TRUE values we “predict” as human beings. To be honest the idea of hurting and killing animals and consuming their flesh has been weird to me since I was a kid. To stay true to myself I decided to leave cruelty off my plate and start a compassionate lifestyle.

It is not a difficult path if you chose a plant-based lifestyle for the right reasons: Health, environment and of course the animals. These amazing souls that are full of love and innocence, they deserve our respect and care.

People always ask me which was the first step I took to make a change in my life and I can tell you this: Educate yourself.

Don´t let anyone else tell you if having a plant-based lifestyle is good or bad. Do your OWN research, and try it yourself.

These are some of the documentaries and books I highly recommend if you want to start living a compassionate lifestyle aligned with your true values.
