MEET MARCELA
I’m a multidisciplinary artist and my creations range from abstract painting, through objet d’art and into interior design. My deep love for the ocean and my passion for the environment are both intense sources of inspiration in my career as an artist as well as in my day-to-day life.
Just as you would immerse yourself in the depths of the ocean, I thrive when going deep into one of my most beloved passions: raising awareness for nature preservation.
“I’m completely in my element when I feel like I’m inspiring others to live a more compassionate life, one where others can feel connected to the earth and all its living things. Showing them how they can achieve this even by making small changes to their lifestyles gives me a sense of fulfillment”. This sense of enthusiasm is clearly displayed in my lively-colored paintings, where one can draw as much intensity and might from as one would from the very ocean that inspires me.
INTERIOR DESIGN
Creating spaces is another way for me to tell stories, and I know how to build moments that can grant the peace that you want at home. I tend to focus on calming palettes and then add surprising colors that can bring your house to life.
VIEW MOREWHY I CARE?
As a mother, and as an environmentalist, I can't imagine not doing everything in my hands to make the world a better place for our children. Whether we help out by reducing, reusing and recycling –or by any other means–, it's of the utmost importance that we take action in fighting pollution and climate change. After all, the world belongs to our children, and it's our job to inspire them so they can live consciously and lovingly towards our planet.
